Winter Park is a Missional Church
In response to God's love, we share the Good News of Jesus Christ through both words and deeds. As a church, we minister in Christ's name by providing emergency assistance to people in need, building homes for people through Habitat for Humanity, housing homeless families through Interfaith Hospitality Network and tutoring Internationals in English as a Second Language (ESL).
People of all ages are involved in Mission projects throughout the year at Winter Park. Each year we sponsor a Fall & Spring Hope Day where individuals from our church come together for a day of providing various services to folks in our community. Children, Senior Adults and everybody in between take part in this growing ministry of our church. It's great to work side-by-side in missions!
We offer a wide variety of Mission Projects
Senior Adults make sleeping bags for the homeless, our youth and students work on local mission projects and engage in annual Mission Trips. Individuals from our church take an active part in providing service in local missions efforts, such as: Seaman's Center & St. James Shelter.
Winter Park also provides mission opportunities for individuals on a global scale. Currently, we have a special partnership to the Bali people & we build cinder-block homes for folks on our Mexico Mission Trips. It's so exciting to see what God is doing through people who make themselves available to share his love!
Along with each caring deed we also offer a word of hope: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).
