Who is a Sr. Adult?
A Senior Adult is anyone 55 and over! In addition to providing Bible Study each Sunday morning 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. we have a weekly meeting we call LUNCH & LEARN. Lunch & Learn takes place each Tuesday 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m in our fellowship hall. During this time we enjoy a wonderful meal prepared by our church hostess for an affordable $3.00, followed by prayer time and a 20 - 30 minute devotional/bible study from one of our staff Pastors.

Become a Keenager!
On the second Tuesday of each month our KEENAGERS club meets. This program is also in our Fellowship Hall and starts at 10:15 a.m and concludes after Lunch & Learn at 1:00 p.m. We provide a variety of entertaining programs during this special time together. We've had music programs, drama groups to perform, seasonal programs, craft specialists sharing their talents, missionaries who gave testimonies of their mission work and a host of other programs! In addition to the program each month we recognize birthdays & anniversaries, hear a short devotional, share announcements & enjoy an occasional humorous jokes! Our monthly Keenagers club time is always a blessing!

Keenager Trips
Our Sr. Adult Ministry sponsors various trips throughout the year. We try to take day-trips once or twice per month. We take in consideration that many of our Sr. Adults are limited in their mobility, so we plan a lot of our trips with that in mind. We also plan a couple of extended trips a year, such as our fall Sr. Adult Fall Retreat to CAMP CARAWAY in Asheboro,NC

Keenager Newsletter
To help our Sr. Adults keep up with the various ministries affecting them we produce a bi-monthly newsletter entitled THE KEEN GAZETTE. It's a great way to keep up with what's happening in Sr. Adult ministry at Winter Park. Through trips, mission projects, special events, and the KEENAGER CHOIR, Winter Park's senior adults not only provide care to each other, but ministry to our total church and local community.
