Winter Park Baptist Ministry Partners Assist Haitian Relief
Winter Park missionaries, Kevin and Faydra Stratton serve with Missionary Flights International in Florida. Here is an update from MFI and their efforts with the Haiti disaster.
Missionary Flights International has been providing flight support for medical teams, supply relief and a rotation of personnel on the ground in Haiti. Please pray for the mission community, the Haitian community and MFI as we provide transportation to the suffering people in Haiti. Your online gift will be a real blessing to us right now. The Fellowship continues its response to the crisis in Haiti
CBF field personnel Nancy and Steve James are leading the Fellowship's earthquake response in Haiti, where the Jameses have served for years as medical professionals. Here's how to help:
Keenager/Teenager Event Rescheduled for March 20th The snow came so we had to reschedule the fun, but you can still be a part of this event for both senior adults and the youth! There will be live music, karaoke and great food. Supper begins at 5:00PM and the fun will last until 7:30PM.
Thursday Night Study Group
The next study will be “Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit” by Beth Moore. This group meets on Thursdays from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm in conference room 111. Please call Cathie Johnston at 371-0422 for more information.
Vacation Bible School Meeting There will be a meeting about this year's VBS 3:30 pm Sunday, March 14th in the Children's Center. If you would like to volunteer to help with VBS this summer (June 21-25), please come to this informational meeting. CBF General Assembly The CBF General Assembly will take place at First Baptist Church of Winston-Salem, NC on March 19-20. Winter Park's old friend Cecil Sherman will deliver the keynote sermon. Vans will depart from Winter Park early on Friday the 19th and return late Saturday evening. Costs will be $70 per person which includes transportation, Friday evening meal and motel accomodations.
